On our 6th day onboard Resilient Lady, we had another sea day to enjoy. With Scarlet Night coming up we decided to make the most of a chilled out day.
We woke up at a decent hour but decided to have a leisurely morning enjoying our cabin. Laura is a big fan of the hammock on the balcony and wanted to take the opportunity to make the most of it.
Lunch at The Galley
When we finally felt like heading out, we went to The Galley for lunch. We were pleasantly surprised to find tandoori chicken wings on the menu, a nice change from the usual meals. We paired them with rice for a tasty and satisfying lunch.
Around the World in 80 Minutes
After lunch, we headed to see The Diva perform Around the World in 80 Minutes in The Manor. We missed this show on the first half of our cruise, so we were excited to catch it. The show was super fun, full of audience participation, and hilarious! Definitely try to get there early for the best views, we ended up stood to the side and couldn't see everything that was happening.
Magic
Next, we went to the Sip Lounge to catch The Charmer performing some magic. He wowed us with his tricks, including one with a pair glasses that left us completely confused. Lizzy also got another pin badge to add to the growing collection!
We ran into Valerie and Lorraine, fellow passengers we’d met earlier in the cruise, and had a lovely drink with them. They kindly bought us a round, and we had a great time chatting before heading off to our next adventure.
Even though we’d had lunch, we felt a bit peckish, so we grabbed a burger at The Galley. The burgers on board are always a good choice! After that, we got dressed in our red dresses and got ready for Scarlet Night, our second one on this cruise.
Scarlet Night Fun!
For our second Scarlet Night onboard Resilient Lady we were determined to see everything we'd missed first time around so we started the night in On the Rocks, where the Scarlet Night story was being read. With a Pornstar Martini in hand, we then got glittered up at the Glam Station before heading to Razzle Dazzle for dinner. This time, we opted to stick to our favorite dishes, pork belly and chicken wings for starters. For mains, Laura went with chicken again, and Lizzy tried pastrami for the first time, both were delicious.
After dinner, we relaxed with drinks at the Dock. The vibe was casual, and it was a perfect spot to unwind before the big celebrations.
Getting Involved
We then headed to the Roundabout for the official start of Scarlet Night, enjoying the dance performance and a bit of acrobatics. We were lucky enough to get another pin badge from from the Happenings Cast to add to our collection and Laura even won a game of charades for a glass of Prosecco. The fun continued as we walked around the ship, checking out the lively DJ sets and karaoke, before heading to the Roundabout for another performance.
Pool Party
The highlight of the evening was, of course, the Scarlet Night Pool Party! We stood by the pool, watched the dancing, and even ended up in the pool ourselves. Despite the cooler water, we had a great time. Afterwards, we warmed up in the hot tub before heading back to our cabin to shower and change.
We ended our night with a drink and some dancing at The Manor where the after party was taking place before grabbing pizza, chicken pesto and margarita, of course! It was a great way to end a fantastic day.
Today was a perfect mix of relaxation and fun. We loved seeing more Scarlet Night entertainment and enjoyed all the live shows, magic, and fun activities.
